Woman Takes a Chance on a Dirty, Lost Kitten!
A dirty stray kitten was just wandering around an apartment complex with no mama cat. Luckily, a kind woman just happened to spot the wee one when he was hanging out at the bottom of their stairs.
She had seen feral cats around this area in the past but this little thing was so covered in dirt and filth, she knew she had to help him. “We gave him some chicken but (he) couldn’t catch it,” violetohara stated via tumblr.
She knew the kitten was in horrible shape. With just a bit of help from her downstairs neighbor, together, they managed to catch the kitten and gave him a comfy towel to snuggle with.
The woman then proceeded to give him a good brushing! The kitten was terrified at first, but as soon as she started helping him ease the discomfort, he calmed down tremendously, snuggling in her arms and feeling comforted.
“(We) got the fleas and dirt washed off him, got some antibiotics for a slight cold, but he was otherwise fine, kneading and purring up a storm, eating a lot and being heart-crushingly adorable.” Here are some photos from kitty’s first vet check-up!
In just one day, he looked like a brand new cat! The woman named the little rescue fur baby ‘Nux’ and gave him all the love he had needed so desperately for a long time!
Nux settled in her lap, looked up into her hero’s eyes as if he was saying, “Thank you for saving me.” Nux was given a brand new lease on life.
